The article explores the exhibition through the artistic dialogue between Arne Quinze and Joana Vasconcelos, highlighting the project's connection to the poetic legacy of Jean Cocteau and its unique setting within La Citadelle – Centre d'Art & Musée in Villefranche-sur-Mer.
Conceived by Arne Quinze in collaboration with Joana Vasconcelos, the exhibition is curated by Selcan Atılgan, Founder of ARTSA, and presented under the direction of Camille Frasca. Through monumental outdoor interventions and immersive interior installations, The Absurd and the Dreamlike transforms one of the French Riviera's most historic landmarks into a contemporary landscape of imagination, poetry and dialogue.
